• Pelican, Victory hull no 5 was delivered safely to her home to Portsmouth on Sunday 11th January

 

•  Work has recently completed on Ian Southworth’s Illusion. Ian also brought his J24 ‘Hedgehog’ to DHRY for race winning preparation.

 

•  Victory hull No 5 ‘Pelican’ has just been completed and will be delivered to the owner late 2008.

 

 

• Refitted over the Winter 2007/8, X Boat ‘Quest’ came 2nd in the Captains Cup 2008

 

• Julia Bailey racing her Dragon ‘Aimee’ was the overall winner in the International Dragon Class Cowes Week 2008. 

 

• Graham Bailey, twice overall winner of the White Group in Cowes Week 2006 and 2007 in the DHRY built Etchells ‘Arbitrator’, won their class again in Cowes Week 2008 and came 6th in the Etchells World 2008 in Chicago.

 

• ‘Runaway Bus’, the Quarter Tonner owned and sailed by Paul Kelsey won the RAF Yacht Club’s Battle of Britain Regatta 2008.

 

• David Tydeman found an old Quarter Tonner in France in 2007 and chose DHRY to do a complete refit over the Winter of 2007/8. Snoopy then came 3rd overall in the Quarter Ton Cup 2008, her first regatta.

 

• Ante Razmilovic in his DHRY Etchells ‘Swedish Blue’ won the 2008 Italian National and European Championships.   

 

• Congratulations are also due to Mike Probert who is his 2008 race prepared Squib ‘Pani Munta’ won his class in Cowes Week 2008.
